I see nobody has had any ideas on this yet... Heh. Me either. Will probably get around to the PHP method but, if anyone does have any ideas, I'd still be interested to hear em/see them.

I suppose a script that could just act on logs would also be good...

Maybe I'll just write that in PHP and hit it with cron.

A channel I'm setting up a bot for has a rather odd requirement: they wish to log only what voiced users say.

I really have no idea where the heck to begin on this one.

Basic requirements:

* Voiced user chatter logged (ie only users set +v)
* Command to DCC the log to an op on request
* Delete log once DCC is finished (IE, essentially restart logging once the file is retrieved)

Not sure where to begin. Any ideas, pretty please with sugar on top and possibly a few strawberries?

I'll also call you awesome if you help.
