.rehash won't remove the script since it is already loaded onto your eggdrop (rehash won't unload any loaded scripts). You need to .restart.

I had my bot announcing slashdot.org news. I have removed it and bot is still announcing .. where in the world is this file it's reading from?

1) I have removed the line on the bots conf file: source scripts/slashdot.tcl
2) deleted the slashdot.tcl off of the shell
3) .rehash bot
4) replaced edited bots conf on the hub bot
5) .rehash hub bot

I have looked at the bot's conf file up and down and there are no instances of it and yet bot is still announcing away.
