This setting might also be worth checking, depending on the way you gain ops:

Code:

# Set this to 1 if you want to bounce all server modes.set bounce-modes 0

Statistics: Posted by nml375 — Fri Mar 06, 2009 3:06 pm

Well since, I'm running him on a local machine, I know which scripts are running.... I thought it might have something to do with my user flags not being set right within the bot, but wasn't sure which flags I should have for like Friends and to cause the Bot not to want revenge on me.

This is the flags the bot currently has set on me:

hjlmnoptx

Thanks for your help.
Statistics: Posted by rileyil77 — Fri Mar 06, 2009 9:58 am

just a guess, but check if nodesynch is enabled on the channel. (+nodesynch will show in the output of .chaninfo #channel in dcc/telnet with the bot). It might help to post a log message from when you join till just after the post deop's you. maybe from mIRC or your IRC Client. But other than that, usually eggdrop's console *should* display some sort of message about this. IF all of these dont point to anything, it may just be done to a script so i'd double check for scripts like "superbitch" n that kind of thing
Statistics: Posted by TCL_no_TK — Fri Mar 06, 2009 8:46 am

Being set as the master of the BOT, I had to logon to the IRC Server a friend of mine and I run and register the bot's name to services so we could add my bot to the AOP list of #opers and #bbs...

Once I did this, and the bot was added he started deoping me in #opers and #bbs.... I'm the bots master and only user.

When I do a .whois on myself in the bot this is what I get:

<SLASHER> .whois SLASHER
<Osprey> [00:11] #SLASHER# whois SLASHER
<Osprey> HANDLE PASS NOTES FLAGS LAST
<Osprey> SLASHER yes 0 hjlmnoptx 14:54 (partyline)
<Osprey> #osprey - 14:52
<Osprey> HOSTS: *!slasher@*.mylocal.lan.IP, -telnet!*@*

Not sure what else you may need to tell me how to get the bot to stop DeOPing me in #opers and #bbs since I'm his owner.

Thanks for your help! Also I want to say I'm sorry if this was asked already. I tried searching for the answer after searching but couldn't find it.
Statistics: Posted by rileyil77 — Fri Mar 06, 2009 2:26 am
