to which 90% of ppl (in my experience) would answer "no", as they don't have the knowledge to actually be more specific (eg, this is a fairly common tech support call:
customer: my pc don't work
tech: can you be more specific?
customer: nope
tech: <sigh>
)
Statistics: Posted by Petersen — Thu May 02, 2002 3:03 pm

Hmm... I actually did listen to you and took your advice when posting another topic.

In my experience the number of replies you get is inversly proportional to the length of the original posting. A simple "could you be more specific" would have done.

<font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: Mulefire on 2002-05-02 12:59 ]</font>
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu May 02, 2002 2:54 pm

Thankyou for the sarcastic reply, I actually managed to gleem enough information from it to fix my problem, which by the way was that I hadn't given eggdrop enough time to save it's userfile.
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Tue Apr 30, 2002 2:28 pm
