To look at details about files and directories, you can use ls -l which shows a long listing. This is what he is after. Getting help is like shooting fish in a barrel. You can never be sure you've hit the right fish unless it's clear which fish it is causing the problem. This directory listing will provide context to your problem allowing more help to be involved, and will point out which fish is the problem. This should be to your liking.

Do you think you could paste the output of ls -l from where you installed your eggdrop?

yes i have all the files. i really don't know what's the problem.

Checked that the files b.txt and p.txt exists in your eggdrop's main directory (case sensitive)?

i got the bot running. but when i start to play, the bot won't take the answer. and i always receive this error msg in telnet:

Tcl error [CheckPlayerGuess]: couldn't open "b.txt": no such file or directory
Tcl error [CheckPlayerGuess]: couldn't open "p.txt": no such file or directory

. please someone help me out
