Code: 

set avariable [trimleft $anothervariable *!]
but i keep getting in party
Tcl error [scipty.tcl]: invalid command name "trim"

any ideas? i did do iconfig so maybe i missed out a valuable module? the only script i can find them mentioned in is sentinel.tcl which isn't loaded
