Can you tell me how to do that? The configure-script does not use the path-setting for searching for various libraries, but rather checks "common" locations. In the case where the library-files are installed elsewhere, such as in your case, you'll have to use options such as --with-ssl=/path/to/ssl/<br><br>You'll probably also have to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH env. to include the same directory whenever you attempt to start your eggie, unless you link the libraries statically.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=8052">nml375</a> — Tue Mar 04, 2008 8:26 pm</p><hr />

I have openssl in my home dir.  I installed the patch and want to compile the eggdrop but when I do ./configure I get<br>configure: error: OpenSSL was not found. Please supply a pathname to OpenSSL<br><br>How to I tell it where openssl is?
