Hey all!<br><br>I wonder if someone could write me a script that retrieves the info in an &lt;TITLE&gt; tag on links that are posted in a channel for eggdrop.<br><br>I.E when someone posts like a youtube-link, the script would somehow load the page, retrieve text between &lt;TITLE&gt; and &lt;/TITLE&gt; and post that after. I did this before by a script that ran a PHP-file that parsed the sourcecode of a link in and retrieved the TITLE, then sent that back to the eggdrop to put in the channel, but this was highly unstable and my admin told me to shut it off in the end.<br><br>Im hoping that someone with the skill in httptcl or something could make something useful for me because httptcl is a bit hard for me to understand. <br>This script is pretty useful (to prevent getting Rick Rolled, for example) and is mostly wanted by me and mine. <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title="Smile"><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=9568">Third</a> — Fri Dec 21, 2007 4:56 am</p><hr />
