The least you can leave out with a * the better.

some details:
eggdrop 1.6.10 using complete.conf
linux 2.4.18
connected to: Quakenet

problem: i cant dcc chat with the bot from another location except the machine its running on.

/dcc chat <botnick> doesnt work... keeps waiting for acknowledgement forever.

/ctcp <botnick> chat work, but session is immediately closed.

eggdrop gives the following error:
[11:33] Telnet connection: *.chello.nl/61756
[11:33] Timeout/EOF ident connection
[11:33] Denied telnet: telnet@*.chello.nl, No Access

i added the telnet hostmask to my userdetails, but that didnt help. ive also been experminting with all kinds of settings in the config file

does anyone have a solution for this problem...?
