10x ti all of you. I downloaded an 1.6 version of windrop and started it successfully on UNIbg NETWORK.

stdarg, CYGWIN_HACKS makes it so no tweaks are required. The compile is pretty much identical. I've done a few compiles under cygwin..

If you install the cygwin environment, it should come with all the tools you need to compile on windows, such as 'gcc' and 'make'. The same steps that you use for linux should work for cygwin.

I've never tried, so I don't know if there are any special tweaks you need, but other stuff I've tried is identical on cygwin and linux.

So what your saying is that an eggdrop can be compiled and run from a Windows98 machine?

Can i Compile an egg on a windows XP or 98 system. I have instaled ActiveTCL8.3 but i do not know how to start the compilation. Into all the FAQ pages is written only how to compile on a SHELL.
