new to using an eggdrop..simple question

well! the ./eggdrop command nust be run from within the directory where you put that bot
presuming that the directory is eggdrop you should write at command shell:
$ cd eggdrop
And after that the prompt would be:
/eggdrop$
type ls to see if the conf file is in that directory and if it is type:
./eggdrop -m

it should work!

I got it up and running, then after a couple of days it went down. Now when I went to reconnect it I get the error "Missing name for redirect" after I use the ./eggdrop command (I have the correct name where the is. This is probably something minor I am doing wrong, but any help would be appreciated.
