join channel with password and autoop

first off the join should work... make sure the chan name and password are spelled correctly, try capping JOIN. start the bot and immediately telnet in so you can watch it try to join and see what goes wrong. or run it ./eggdrop -n. for autoop you need to set the op flag for the channel as well. look in the users files in doc. use .chattr

Hi there,

i have a little problem with eggdrop-1.6.9 on rh 7.2

the bot did not join a channel with password.
in the channel file are standing
putserv "join #channel password"
but the bot didn't joined the channel.
so i tell the bot over partyline to join the channel. then come the next problem.
the bot did not do autoop the user.
i have tell him this over partyline and channel file
+autoop

so want can i do that the bot join the channel and give autoop?
