Actually thats how I learned, by analyzing someone elses scripts (and fixing them.) If you can figure out the logic in a function, looking up the meanings to the commands/symbols is the easy part. At least for me, some people learn by doing, easier than through reading tutorials.
Me too :D more specifically, the Egghelp community was my number 1 tutor. I always tried to understand whatever code people wrote in here (for me or for others) and then I began to learn more by helping others.

But, I do not..yet..know how to create my own scripts and I was wondering if there is perhaps a site, board, ebook or what have you that can get me well on my way to learning how to script for EggDrop!
