How use http tcl to get info from a site?

i want the bot to fetch information from a site so i was wondering which script to use since i was using TDOM but now the website has changed for a new design and now TDOM doesnt work well so i was wondering if there is a TCL script i could use instead or a faster way to fetch info on a site. Do i have to tell the bot to search

tags etc ? the site was coded very bad.
