Botnet-nick and handles

Is there a way to edit/create a script which will accept bot connections. I've added a bot to the hub bot, which is connected to another 20 bots in a botnet. But when i want to add bot, which acts as a hub to another few bots, i get invalid handle. But i cant change the handle to match the botnet-nick for each bot as the handle(s) is already taken by another bot.

So im asking, could eggdrop accept bot connections for bots which are added and connect from the corrent ip and port added, but the botnet-nick does not match the handle its added by..?
