Well done, on a small note dont confuse IRC with Mirc. Mirc is a windows based client used to access IRC. Its not the other way round.

Fudded
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Fri Mar 22, 2002 6:54 am

Well, CONGRATS! It's good to know someone was helped and found this place to be useful.

I admire you. I am not a pro, and sometimes it takes me 10 hours to do things, and that's because like u, I wanna get it right the 1st time, and not jump right into it.

It just took me 1 hour to make another bot from one installation, and that's because i had to redo another WHOLE advanced config file and get everything right, while trying to remember what I needed thanks to the FAQ pages here. Now I have a bot on D and 1 on U, and they are both running out of the same directory...lol, so i'm just like u, not a pro, but someone who takes their time to do it right.
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Mar 21, 2002 3:22 pm

Well, the subject says it all, i have absolutely no experience with programming and computers, yet with the help of this great site and its extensive info on eggdrops i was able to obtain a shell account, obtain the files needed, managed to install and configure the whole bunch, and now have this marvelous bot running on a mirc channel:) and it took me only 8 hours or so hehe. Well maybe that is very long for a "pro" but i think it is no small feat...

Briliant site:)

Tav
Netherlands
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Mar 21, 2002 12:57 pm
