No, that's the weird thing, there is no script that does this. The only additional tcl I load is protuser.tcl: http://banking.hypermart.net/egghelp/protuser.tcl.gz .

The default eggdrop banmask includes the ident, so are you using a script for the join flood? If so, check the config settings for the script to see if you can change the banmask.

Is there a way to change the default hostmask for a ban? When my 1.6.8 bot bans someone for JOIN flood, he takes the *!*@HOST. I would like him to add the ident as well, because if someone from the same IP is banned, the bot bans himself...
