Ok, I checked the config file and found the settings  flood-chan 5:20<br><br>So I did a .chaninfo &lt;channel&gt; and seen that the chanfile is also set to flood-chan 5:20<br><br>So I have adjusted the settings in chanfile and will see if that helps keep the flood kicking down.<br>.chanset &lt;channel&gt; flood-chan 10:20<br><br>thanks for your help<br>tom<p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sun Mar 17, 2002 7:03 pm</p><hr />

Using sentinel2.60.tcl on Egg 1.4.5<br><br>Sometimes, nicks get kicked by bot for very short sentences, like maybe one or two words in a sentence, and maybe 4 or 5 of these sentences entered and then they are kicked.<br><br>What would be good settings for sentinel to prevent a real legitimate flood but stop from kicking nicks who dont really need kicking? <br> <br>These are what I have in sentinel2.60<br><br> # Bot CTCP flood.<br>set sl_bcflood 5:30<br><br># Bot MSG flood.<br>set sl_bmflood 6:20<br><br># Channel CTCP flood.<br>set sl_ccflood 5:20<br><br># Channel avalanche/tsunami flood.<br>set sl_avflood 6:20<br><br># Channel text flood.<br>set sl_txflood 160:30<br><br># Channel bogus username join flood.<br>set sl_boflood 4:20<br><br># Channel join-part flood.<br>set sl_jflood 6:20<br><br># Channel nick flood.<br>set sl_nkflood 6:20<br><br>Any help would be appreciated, thanks<br>tom<p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sat Mar 16, 2002 2:04 pm</p><hr />
