Thanks for the link, but also try to understand that is not always easy to search for something along the lines of 'startup -n'

Ok this is an odd one that I am trying to figure out.

If I do ./eggdrop -n myconf.conf

I will see the bot enter main loop, connect to the server and join the channel, all that good stuff.

If I do ./eggdrop myconf.conf it will load the modules, and say that it is launching into the background....but the bot will never join the server or join the channel.

Any ideas?

edit:
Already did ./eggdrop -m myconf.conf so all my userfiles and chan files are created...
