sorry that didnt work, that just tries to set the key, the key is already set and i need to join the bot with the key in place

how do i get a bot to join a room with a key?

From the dcc console type .chanset need-key #channame passkey

replace #channel with the name of the chan you want the bot to join, and replace passkey with the key
