I believe you could easily change it in the source code by changing the filtering trigger (which determines if its processed as command or message) from . to !. In the help files its a simply replace (maybe a regex capable editor might be usefull... and no, there are plenty free/shareware ones).<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2382">De Kus</a> — Wed Jul 05, 2006 6:41 am</p><hr />

There's 1 key for a '.' while for a '!' you need to press SHIFT+1. Which is easier? <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title="Razz"> even if that's not the case on your keyboard, your request is still not important and not necessary - get used to the '.' (my advice).<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=3085">Sir_Fz</a> — Fri Jun 30, 2006 9:43 pm</p><hr />

Make a request to <a href="http://www.eggheads.org/" class="postlink">Eggheads</a> but, as <em class="text-italics">only</em> you like it that way doesn't mean everyone else does. The other alternative is for you to search through the code and change it yourself. <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title="Smile"><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=3646">Alchera</a> — Fri Jun 30, 2006 8:26 pm</p><hr />

I was wondering if future versions could support a way to change the command symbol. For example change the "." to "!" because I would prefer it that way.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=7922">Dead6re</a> — Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:54 am</p><hr />
