Look at your eggdrop's configuration file; specifically the flood settings i.e. dcc-flood-thr, telnet-flood etc.
Statistics: Posted by Alchera — Sun May 28, 2006 6:23 pm

hello,

i'm using some tcl that listen on some port & when a telnet reachs that port it just announces/echo the text sent by the telnet into chan.

my problem begins when sometimes i want the message posted inside the chan rather big. in that case the bot consider this as a flood, and ignoring all telnet connections from my server for 2-3 minutes.

is there any way i can avoid the telnet connection from my server to be ignored ?
i know if it were a user dccing the bot or acting from within the chan i could then add +f flag to it, but i'm not sure how to handle server outside telnet connection to bot.

would appreciate any help with matter.
thx in advanced.
Statistics: Posted by idan — Sun May 28, 2006 5:06 pm
