HMM - then it's 100% not related.

As sugested, either remove the demon, stabilise it, or find an alternative for it.

As I understand it, antirelayd is a daemon that verifies IP addresses for SMTP to prevent unauthorized use. It logs the IP when a user connects to POP3, thus providing "POP3 before SMTP" verification.

Not directly.

I do not know what antirelayd is, or what it does, but I do know, it isn't a direct component of eggdrop.

It could however, be intercepting connections to and from the bot, and upon death of the process, connections that have not be closed under normal curcumstances are causing death.

The only sugestion for this is to stabalise this demon or remove it. I am sure there are other solutions for what this demon does, you should investigate them as an alternative.

My eggdrop process dies everytime the antirelayd process dies/restarts on my hosts server. Is there any relationship between eggdrop and antirelayd that might cause this?
