tsskiller : Won't hurt you if you would try the '.help chaninfo' command from the 'dcc chat' or 'telnet' with the bot. The 'ban-time' setting (by default 120) is the time in minutes when a channel ban 'expires' (it get's removed from the channel banlist) keeping the banlist of the channel clean with only the bans needed active. Also, here is a quote from the 'eggdrop.conf' file:

# ban-time 120
# Set here how long temporary bans will last (in minutes). If you
# set this setting to 0, the bot will never remove them.

Statistics: Posted by caesar — Mon Jan 23, 2006 5:15 pm

I apologize if this question was asked before. I'm on an irc network which uses UnrealIRCD and Anope services (iirc). Whenever I leave the bot opped for a period of time, it removes the channel bans. I opped the bot so it isn't affected by the chanserv flood limit. Could someone tell me where in the conf I can turn this feature off? Any help would be appreciated.
Statistics: Posted by tsskiller — Mon Jan 23, 2006 12:16 am
