I understood the problem, but my answer is gonna be totally off topic.

You would wanna try unloadtcl.tcl by Wingman from the TCL archives. Upon using this script if it doesnt find the name of of the tcl script you are trying to load, it will just say so. The bot only dies when it finds an 'error' in the tcl script you tried to load.

Statistics: Posted by Yourname — Sun Mar 03, 2002 5:14 am

rewrite the source command to encorporate an error trapping routine (ie catch)
Statistics: Posted by Petersen — Thu Feb 21, 2002 12:54 pm

I was wondering if anyone can shed light on this, or whether I will just have to learn to type properly Sometimes, when adding TCLs, I mistype the name of the TCL in the CONF file, thus when i rehash, it makes the bot die, as it realises the file is not there [unable to load CONF]. Is there anyway (other than me learning to type), to make the bot stay, and just report the error?

Thanks,
  Spliffy

<font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: EcoSpliff on 2002-02-21 08:06 ]</font>
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Feb 21, 2002 11:06 am
