here's a wild guess - buggy eggdrop ipv6 patch - for some reason, it fails to bind to my-ip6 properly
Statistics: Posted by demond — Wed Dec 28, 2005 4:31 am

I installed eggdrop with ipv6 patched sources. I made .conf file and set my-ip6 and my-hostname6 to ipv6 adress provided to me by server root. But when trying to connect eggdrop to server it uses some another ipv6 adress (not that, I defined in .conf by setting my-ip6). The ipv6 adress i have written in .conf is correct (I tried to connect to the same irc server with same ipv6 adress with irssi and connection worked).
Any Ideas ?
Statistics: Posted by seal — Wed Dec 21, 2005 4:53 am
