bot dont recognize because of dynamic ip

one of his lines is dynamic. and not with a provider.
example:
........ is ~........@89.181.122.107

the other one is dynamic but with a provider added to the end.

so I can't add hosts.

And about the script, I was thinking about a msg to the bot with a random string of numbers and letters which would be a command to add his hostmask for 10 min.

Add one hostmask for each DSL-line?

One option might be to have a script dynamically add and remove hostmasks as needed, tho this really would'nt add much security imho.

I have a user with 2 DSL lines. He just randomly picks one each time he connects. The part of hist hostmask before the @ stays the same, everything after changes. So if I set a hostmask it would be very insecure and I don't want that.

Is there another way to let him identify to the bot? A /msg, some other command or is it possible to create a script?

they will need to know my password to be able to dcc chat with them right? if they dont get the right password.. it will drop the connection.. is this correct?

ok.. i got it to work and to recognized me
by adding the host.. but i need it to add this command in:
.+host *chubby*
now it works.. but i dunno what that command does if someone could tell me plz. someone on irc told me to do that.

Because you are supposed to kill the bot for a start and then delete BOTH .user and .user~bak

when i ssh into the shell and remover the bot.user file, with this command: rm bot.user
then ls
i dont see the file but when i restart the bot the file appears agian
why??

this is the same as DCC chat, is the my-ip setting in your config and is the port you specify in the config (example: listen 3333 all)

Another solution would be to delete the .user file and restart the bot, then you can /msg hello again.

oh.. you mean thru dcc chat.. i thought it was the conf file that i was supposed to add. I can't dcc chat to it now since it dont recognizes me.
how else can i add myself in? someone on irc told me to telnet in but i dunno how and he wasn't specific and didn't tell me more than that. thaks in advance.
do i need to edit a new conf file , msg hello , then add my host ? is there a way to get around making a new conf file?

If u are using a 9 handle eggdrop, u handle have to be only 9 chars long and u eggdrop will cut u nick to chubbychu . Just telnet or dcc to u bot and try:
