Use a different script, which counts lines for nicks or idents@hosts rather than hosts.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=3085">Sir_Fz</a> — Thu Nov 03, 2005 8:13 am</p><hr />

Tried Mr. Sam Earch, but he wasn't helpful..<br><br>My problem is this:<br>I have several users with the same host, but different ident (because of same shell provider, ie. *!<a href="mailto:user1@host.com">user1@host.com</a>, *!<a href="mailto:user2@host.com">user2@host.com</a>, etc) and they get kicked from channel flood because the lines are counted as coming from one user. <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Shocked"><br>So if user1 types 8 lines while user2 types 9 lines they go over the flood line of 15:25, and the user who writes the lucky 16th line gets kicked. <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":?" title="Confused"> <br><br>Can anyone help me with fixing this? <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":(" title="Sad"><br><br>(P.S. I'd appreciate if the solution wasn't "disable flood protection" <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Wink"> )<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=6927">Morfeus</a> — Thu Nov 03, 2005 6:12 am</p><hr />
