as i propose:<blockquote class="uncited"><div>1.just for a test delete the second host and let the nick*!*@* as host.try to connect. </div></blockquote> and De Kus ask you something for the beggining.your answer was:<br>&lt;Bot&gt; [18:40] CTCP chat:  from user (~ident@host)<br><br>that is paste from the bot that meaning that the bot recognise the user and send dcc.what about user? did he receive and accepted the dcc?did the dcc windows opened trying to establich connection or not?did the user has enable dcc and not ignore?<br><br>and btw we talk about 2 diferent users: you the owner with full of flags<br>and second another one user with other flags.(you dint paste here that)<br>Not the same person.<br><br>the initial problem as you say is:<blockquote class="uncited"><div>When i add someone to my bot he cant join partyline</div></blockquote>the add procedure have to be like that:<br>step 1 .+user handle *!*@host (if not undernet or static ip then try <br>*!*ident@*.domain) &lt;---this is essential to be without typo.<br>step 2 .chattr handle +op #channel &lt;---(o=op p=party line)<br>step 3 .save<br>step 4 .rehash<br>step 5 .channel #channel &lt;--with that you can verify if the bot recognise the user or not.(necessary the added user to be on chan)<br><br>REMEMBER that:handle IS NOT necessary THE USER`S NICKNAME.<br>example:<br>handle:carl <br>nick:peter <br>hosts:*!*psy@*.aol.com<br>on mirc you give /whois peter(nick) on egg you give .whois carl(handle).<br><br>if after all the user cannot connect to bot then ask him to dcc chat you.(verify if chat is enable or is blocked via frw).try to dcc chat him and establish a connection with him(double check the connection)<br><br>as De Kus say upper hope you read this:<br><a href="http://forum.egghelp.org/viewtopic.php?t=10399" class="postlink">http://forum.egghelp.org/viewtopic.php?t=10399</a><br><br>and you connected to bot via /ctcp bot chat and not via telnet so the bot has indeed dcc connection.(for sure )<br>also let us know if the bot respond to dcc(ctcp bot chat-&gt;bot send dcc-&gt;dcc accepted by user-&gt; connection establish or not).If the bot send dcc meaning that recognise the user(double check for recognision).if not(but responding to you) meaning that the host is wrong.<br>if establish connection OK if not then frw or mirc settings problem on user`s client.(more details:on URL that me and De Kus gives you.) <br><br><br>if the problem is not solved pls paste to us all the details and all the procedures that you tried so we can find out the problem.<br>details:whois nick from mirc/whois handle from the bot for this user/if the user has dcc connection/if the bot send dcc after ctcp bot chat request or not.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=6534">CrazyEgg</a> — Tue Oct 25, 2005 2:28 pm</p><hr />

lets clear sonthing<br>handle is not the same with nick for example:<br><br>handle = carl <br>host= peter!*@*.aol.com<br><br>as you say the handle user has flags fjlmnoptx meaning owner.<br>the user witch you add what kind of flags has? did he have +partyline?<br>the flag +o or +f didnt give you +p if you didnt specify that.<br>try to read the help file on ~/bot/doc/USERS.<br>also as you say:<br>bot&gt; [10:04] -user (~ident@ip)- DCC Chat (ip) <br>&lt;bot&gt; [10:04] CTCP DCC: CHAT chat 1426990218 1025 from user (~ident@ip)<br><br><br>question:the ~ident@ip is the same with the host that you gived as hosts on bot?<br>the char ~ must be specify or covered with *ident.<br>propose:<br>1.just for a test delete the second host and let the nick*!*@* as host.try to connect.<br>2.verify mirc if change the ip(almost hapens on connection via lan with local network range ip).<br>3.verify if the add user have password given.verify if egg recognize him with /msg bot notes pass all or with /msg bot help pass(the bot normaly send notice with help to user)<br>4.tell to user to connect via /ctcp bot chat and not with /dcc chat bot<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=6534">CrazyEgg</a> — Tue Oct 25, 2005 6:46 am</p><hr />
