Im new to shells and eggdrop..compiled the whole thing with help in slennox shell and eggdrop page..everything is working real fine...except...when i connect to irc server i get this error:

Couldn't look up your hostname

it takes a very long time to connect...and it shows my ident@ip address instead of my vhost address...any idea's???

ps. is there a way to change the ident..now its my login name but can it be something else?
