wrong, a HTTP proxy expects CONNECT and SOCKS proxy expects some garbage codes that eggdrop support nevertheless hehe<br><br>but you are right, eggdrop does <strong class="text-strong">not</strong> support HTTP proxy, only SOCKS (and so-called "Sun Firewall" that nobody has heard of hehe)<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=5056">demond</a> — Thu Sep 08, 2005 12:00 pm</p><hr />

a HTTP Proxy is no Socks Proxy, you need a Socks Proxy to connect to IRC.<br>Are you sure this can actually work? I beleave this cannot work... even theoretically <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">. Because a HTTP Proxy should expect a GET and HOST line, while a Socks Proxy expects a CONNECT line afaik ^-^.<br>If you can, check your Proxy logs, I am sure you will have a 4** error logged <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2382">De Kus</a> — Thu Sep 08, 2005 7:26 am</p><hr />
