cannot remove flood protection!!

If you check .chaninfo #channel can you see the settings haven taken effect? If not, the old settings might be stuck in the chanfile (read http://www.egghelp.org/using.shtml#chansets for more info).

The setting to disable the flood mechanisms should be 0:0 or 0:1.

I did, that... but it's making no difference.. am I supposed to put it in a specific place in the config file??

set it to 100:10 or something
then youl have to say 100 lines in 10 seconds

I am trying to remove the bot's channel flood protection...

I have tried setting global-flood-chan to 0 to 100 to 600:600 whatever its not working... tried setting flood-chan to everything when setting up the channel...

I'm obviously doing something wrong, but what is it.. I've been battling for days with this damn problem, can U just turn the whole flood protection thing off???
