aah..cracked it... Hi all,<br><br>I'm playing about with a zonecf from <a href="http://www.publicip.net" class="postlink">www.publicip.net</a>. It installs a stripped down version of debian I believe.<br><br>I thought i'd see if I could compile eggdrop 1.6.17 on it.<br>Firstly it said tcl wasn't installed, so I downloaded tcl8.4.9-src from tcl.activestate.com and installed via<br>./configure<br>make<br>make install<br><br>(please excuse me pasting my commands..i'm very very new to linux and want to make sure i'm doing this right).<br><br>So I then went to my eggdrop directory and done<br>./configure<br>make config<br>make<br><br>it compiled the eggdrop ok but then came up with this error<br><br>All modules compiled.<br>make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/eggdrop1.6.17/src/mod'<br><br>Test run of ./eggdrop -v:<br>./eggdrop: error while loading shared libraries: libtcl8.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory<br>make: *** [modules] Error 127<br><br>Now when doing the ./configure, it picks up libtcl8.4.so from the right place.<br><br>checking for Tcl library... found /usr/local/lib/libtcl8.4.so<br>checking for Tcl header... found /usr/local/include/tcl.h<br>checking whether the Tcl system has changed... yes<br>checking for Tcl version... 8.4<br>checking for Tcl patch level... 8.4.9<br>checking for Tcl_Free in -ltcl8.4... yes<br>checking for TclpFinalizeThreadData in -ltcl8.4... no<br>configure: creating ./config.status<br>config.status: creating Makefile<br>config.status: creating doc/Makefile<br>config.status: creating scripts/Makefile<br>config.status: creating src/Makefile<br>config.status: creating src/compat/Makefile<br>config.status: creating src/md5/Makefile<br>config.status: creating src/mod/Makefile<br>config.status: creating config.h<br>config.status: config.h is unchanged<br>config.status: executing replace-if-changed commands<br>lush.h is unchanged<br>config.status: executing catch-make-rebuild commands<br>Building ./src/mod/Makefile... done.<br><br>Operating System: Linux 2.4.21-xfs<br><br><br>Am I doing something wrong ?<br><br>Any advice/suggestions are very much appreciated.<br><br>Many thanks<br><br>Dave H.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=6635">Dave H</a> — Tue Aug 23, 2005 7:45 am</p><hr />
