I need to link a mySQL database to an eggdrop... so that the eggdrop can call out certain information from the database...

Example: ...have a website running @ http://www.XP-erience.org the news on the front page is backend-ed by a mySQL database, the site also have an IRC channel running... with an eggdrop bot in it...wanted it so that on a trigger like "!news"... the bot recalls the last 5 news headlines... is this possible ?

I've seen a few other scripts lurking around linking mySQL databases and an eggdrop... so hoping this is possible :smile:
