Heh as Alchera summed up nicely it's not easy to dual boot but not impossible. Read up on LILO. There is also a good article here about how to setup dual boot. Or you could use Grub as an alternative to LILO check this article here. The easiest way in my opinion is to use a seperate machine and use the network with Samba

If your serious about setting up linux as a dual boot then I suggest the best thing for you to do is google for HOWTO's. Good Luck.

If you want a nice easy to install and use Linux flavour I would personally recommend Red Hat 9. Just remember when installing it to install the developer stuff i.e. gcc compiler

You can download it here. ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/

Get the 3 i386 iso files not the 3 SRPM's and burn them to disk using your favorite burning application. pop disk 1 in your drive and follow the onscreen instructions.

I know this is not much to do with eggdrops. But, i know got a server ready to install linux on. Now, can anyone tell me the best linux to use free or not free. I just want the best linux system ;p.
